Diesel engines four-cycle, four-cylinder, line, water cooling are installed cross in motor compartments of cars. All engines, except model 1Y, are equipped with a turbocompressor. The AFN engine installed on later models structurally does not differ from 1Z. The bent shaft is established on five radical bearings.
On the central bearing persistent half rings by means of which regulate an axial side play of a bent shaft are established. The GRM drive is carried out by means of a gear belt from a pulley of a bent shaft. By the same belt it is brought into rotation and an intermediate shaft which in turn gives gear oil and vacuum pumps. The effort from cams of the camshaft is transferred to valves through hydraulic pushers which automatically compensate thermal gaps.
Without removal of the engine from the car it is possible to perform the following works:
– removal and installation of belts of the drive of auxiliary units;
– removal and installation of the camshaft;
– replacement of an epiploon of the camshaft;
– removal and installation of the cogged pulley of the camshaft;
– removal and installation of the water pump;
– replacement of a forward epiploon of a bent shaft;
– removal and installation of a pulley of a bent shaft;
– removal and installation of a head of the block of cylinders;
– replacement of support of the power unit;
– replacement of an epiploon of an intermediate shaft;
– removal and installation of the oil pump;
– removal and installation of the oil pallet;
– removal and installation of a gear belt of the GRM drive.
