Check of pressure of air in tires. Air pressure in tires needs to be checked every month or before a long trip. It has to correspond to the values given in tab. 1.3. During check of the tire have to be cold. It is necessary to check pressure and in the tire of a spare wheel.

Check of a condition of tires. Tires of wheels need to be replaced if the special indexes which are in the lower part of a protector as a result of wear are made even to its external surface. The provision of indexes is designated by a triangular tag on a tire sidewall.

Shift of wheels. At noticeable wear of protectors of tires of forward wheels it is recommended to trade places forward and back wheels (fig. 1.47) . It will provide the identical term of operation of all tires.
