By pressing any button panels (fig. 1.37) of management of the Climatronic system the relevant information on its display appears.

The automatic operating mode of system joins pressing of the button 18. The recommended operating mode — the established temperature of +22 °C and the included AUTO mode.

After inclusion of ignition the conditioner works in the automatic mode and maintains the set air temperature in salon. On the display the corresponding symbols 1, 2, 6 and 7 appear (see fig. 1.37 ). In this mode not only temperature of the given air, but also its expense automatically changes.

At switching off of ignition or the choice of other operating mode, excellent from automatic, the set program will be stored in memory about an hour. At repeated inclusion of ignition more than in an hour the conditioner will work in the automatic mode again.

Air temperature in salon is set by pressing of buttons 15 and 16. Range of change of temperature from +18 C (64 °F) to +29 °C (86 °F), at the same time it is supported automatically. If temperature to +18 °C is established, on the display "LO" is highlighted. If temperature exceeds +29 °C, on the display "HI" is highlighted. At the extreme values stated above the conditioner works with the maximum cooling or the maximum heating, at the same time temperature is not regulated.

At launch of the cold engine for some time air will move to the area of legs. It is made in order that at supply of warm air in not heated-up interior of the car glasses did not "mist over".

For change of an operating mode of the fan of the supercharger press the button 8 or 9. At the same time the frequency of rotation of the fan decreases or increases, on the display 1 there is a relevant information and the consumption of the given air changes.

Pressing of the button 10 it is possible to include heating of a windshield. The button 11 the mode of recirculation of air in salon joins. Through 30 with at a temperature of external air up to +3 °C the conditioner automatically switches to the mode of supply of fresh air.

Pressing of buttons 12 and 13 can be operated the direction of air supply in salon.

The conditioner in an automatic operating mode is switched by pressing the AUTO button.

The conditioner is switched off by pressing of the button 17 ("OFF"). It can be done only in exceptional cases, for example in case of malfunction of system.

PREVENTION If after inclusion of ignition all symbols on the display blink during 15 with — the Climatronic system failed.
