You carry out an inspection of a condition of hydraulic system in the following order (fig. 12.1) :
you will hang out the car and remove all wheels;
check brake tubes and hoses for tightness, damages and corrosion;
check flexible brake hoses for existence of cracks and attritions. For detection of possible damages bend a brake hose a hand in different directions;

       PREVENTION
Brake tubes for protection against corrosion are covered with a plastic layer. At damage of this layer intensive corrosion of tubes begins. In this regard do not apply metal brushes and other tool which can damage a plastic covering to cleaning of brake tubes.

be convinced that brake hoses are not overwound and do not concern panels of a body or suspension bracket for what turn a steering wheel of the car against the stop in one and other parties and visually check the position held by brake hoses;
check the main brake cylinder, pressure regulator in the brake system, brake mechanisms, working brake cylinders, and system of the hydraulic ABS modulator for tightness and damages;
check nuts and bolts for reliability of fastening;
places of connection of tubes and hoses should not be damp.
