You carry out an inspection of technical condition of a forward brake disk in the following order:

you will hang out a forward part of the car and record on basic racks. Remove the corresponding forward wheel;

on diagonal screw, without tightening, two bolts of fastening of a wheel.

clear a disk of corrosion and check it for wear and defects; using a micrometer, check disk thickness;

using the indicator of hour type, check a beating of a brake disk. It is checked at distance of 10 mm from an outer edge of a disk.

You carry out removal of a forward brake disk in the following order ( fig. 12.10 ):

remove a support and the holder, without disconnecting a brake hose; using a wire, suspend a support to a forward rack;

unscrew bolts of fastening of a wheel which were established when checking a disk;

unscrew the screw of fastening of a brake disk to a nave and remove a disk.

You carry out installation of a forward brake disk to the sequences, the return to removal.
