The regulator of pressure changes brake effort on back wheels depending on loading of the car. Thus, the probability of blocking of back wheels decreases and stability of the car when braking improves. Pressure regulator ( fig. 12.19 ) is located at the left on a back axis and is operated through a spring ( fig. 12.20 ).

You carry out an inspection of the regulator in the following order:

you carry out work in situation when the car costs on wheels;

ask the assistant to control operation of the regulator of pressure. Press against the stop and release a brake pedal, at the same time the operating lever of the regulator has to move.
