You carry out removal of the cylinder of the main brake cylinder (fig. 12.21) in the following order:

remove an air inlet branch pipe between the air filter and the case of a throttle.

several times press a brake pedal to fill with air the vacuum amplifier of brakes, or to take off pressure in the hydraulic block of the servomotor.

remove a cover of the feeding tank of the brake system and the syringe pump out brake fluid. Avoid hit of brake fluid on a paint and varnish covering of the car;

on cars with the hydraulic drive of coupling, disconnect a hose of giving of food of coupling from a tank;

apply tags on the brake tubes suitable to the main brake cylinder;

turn off nuts of fastening of brake tubes and take tubes to the parties from the main brake cylinder. Muffle the ends of tubes traffic jams of the corresponding diameter;

unscrew nuts of fastening and remove the main brake cylinder from the vacuum amplifier of brakes together with laying.

Repair of the main brake cylinder. The main brake cylinder does not understand and in case of failure is subject to obligatory replacement.

You carry out installation of the main brake cylinder to the sequences, the return to removal, taking into account the following:

at installation of the main brake cylinder establish new laying;

remove air from the hydraulic brake system;

tighten nuts of fastening of brake tubes the regulated moment: in case of pulling there is a probability of damage of a flange on the end of a tube.
