Anti-blocking system of brakes (ABS) – the system equipped with control units with feedback which prevent blocking of wheels during braking and keep controllability and course stability of the car.
In the anti-blocking TEVES system in one unit functions of power supply, the drive of brakes and the vacuum amplifier, and also management against blocking of wheels are carried out. The hydraulic block is installed instead of the serial vacuum amplifier with the built-in main brake cylinder. The ABS installation is possible only industrially at production of the car and cannot be conducted independently.
