You make removal in the following order:

— press the handle clamps located in its lower back part and, having pulled, remove the handle 2 from the lever of 1 parking brake;

— remove the top decorative slip 3 levers;

— remove a back part of the central console;

— having turned off lock-nuts and adjusting nuts, remove them from carving tips of cables of the emergency brake;

— turn off two nuts of fastening of the lever to a floor and remove the lever 1 together with the compensator 6;

— weaken bolts of fastening of back wheels, you vyvestit a back part of the car and record it on basic racks;

— turn off bolts of fastening of back wheels and remove wheels;

— on cars with brakes of drum type remove the brake drum and disconnect a cable from the lever of the parking brake;

— on models with back disk brakes disconnect a cable from a back support ( fig. 12.29 );

— take a cable from their fixing clips and remove it from the car ( fig. 12.30 ).

You carry out installation of a cable to the sequences, the return to removal.

Pay attention that cables of the parking brake for each of the parties have the principle of installation. Cables of the parking brake for cars with disk and drum back brakes differ one from another. The cable on the right back wheel has a blue tag which has to settle down on the center of a fixing clip. The cable on the left back wheel has a white tag which has to settle down on the center of a fixing clip.

Carry out adjustment of cables of the parking brake then establish a back part of the central console and a decorative overlay for the lever.
