Removal of the water pump is carried out in the following order:

– merge cooling liquid;

– disconnect a final collector from a reception exhaust pipe;

– disconnect a fuel-supply line from a head of the block of cylinders;

– remove the case of the air filter;

– remove the air consumption measuring instrument;

– weaken a tension of a belt of the drive of auxiliary units, having screwed M8 bolt in an opening of a natyazhitel (fig. 3.59) ;

– take off a belt of the drive of auxiliary units;

– you will hang out the engine by means of the load-lifting mechanism and turn off bolts and nuts of fastening of its support;

– raise the engine assembled with the transmission so that access to the water pump appeared;

– turn off bolts of 1 (fig. 3.60) of fastening of a pulley of the water pump and remove a pulley 2;

– turn off bolts 3 fastenings of the water pump and remove the water pump 4.

Installation of the water pump is carried out in the sequence, the return to removal. At the same time install on its case a new sealing ring 5. After installation adjust a tension of a belt of the drive of auxiliary units.
