Removal of a bent shaft is carried out in the following order:
– remove the power unit from the car (see subsection 3.2.4);
– disconnect the transmission from the engine;

– turn off bolts of 10 (fig. 3.52) of fastening of a flywheel, having recorded it from a provorachivaniye, and remove a flywheel 9 from a bent shaft 1;

– turn off a bolt of fastening of a pulley of 1 (fig. 3.53) of a bent shaft and remove a pulley;
– turn off bolts of fastening of a pulley of the water pump and remove a pulley 2;
– remove GRM drive chains;
– remove a head of the block of cylinders (see subsection 3.2.5);
– remove the oil pallet;
– remove the oil pump;
– remove pistons with rods in collecting (see subsection 3.2.7);
– measure an axial side play of a bent shaft by means of the probe (see subsection 3.1.15) or the indicator of hour type. The axial side play of a bent shaft is regulated persistent half rings 3 (see fig. 3.52 ) by which are installed in the case of the radical bearing No. 5;

– turn off bolts of 12 (fig. 3.54) of fastening of a forward cover of a bent shaft and uncover 11 together with a forward epiploon 13;
– turn off bolts 4 fastenings of a back cover of a bent shaft and uncover 5 together with a back epiploon 6;
– mark covers of radical bearings for the subsequent their correct installation;
– turn off bolts of fastening of covers of radical bearings and uncover, without taking from them inserts;
– remove a bent shaft;
– remove the top inserts of radical bearings (inserts of beds of a bent shaft) and mark them for the subsequent correct installation.
The top inserts have a flute for supply of lubricant to a bent shaft.
Fault detection of a bent shaft is carried out in the sequence described in subsection 3.1.16.
Controlled parameters are specified in subsection 3.2.1.
Installation of a bent shaft is carried out in the following order:
– install the block of cylinders 2 (see fig. 3.54 ) by a case up;
– clear working surfaces of the top inserts of radical bearings and oil them fresh engine;
– establish the top persistent half rings 3 (see fig. 3.52 ) the radical bearing No. 5;
– grease all necks of a bent shaft with 1 fresh engine oil;
– install a bent shaft in the block of cylinders;
– install inserts 4 in radical bearings;
– establish persistent half rings 3 in a cover of the radical bearing No. 5;
– establish covers of radical bearings and tighten bolts of fastening of covers the moment of 30 N · m, then tighten them on a corner 180 °;
– turn a bent shaft manually. It has to rotate easily, without breakthroughs;
– check an axial side play of a bent shaft (see subsection 3.1.15);
– install pistons with rods assembled;
– establish forward and back covers of a bent shaft with new epiploons;
– establish a flywheel;
– install the oil pump;
– apply sealant on the surfaces of contact of the block 2 (see fig. 3.54 ) cylinders and the oil pallet 8;
– establish laying of the 7th oil pallet;
– install the oil pallet 8 and tighten bolts of the 10th fastening of the oil pallet the moment of 20 N · m cross-wise, beginning from a middle part of the pallet;
– execute other operations in the sequence, the return to removal.
