PREVENTIONS 1. If the car is equipped with the conditioner, then before removal of the engine it is necessary to address on HUNDRED the corresponding expert for a detachment of elements of air conditioning system. 2. At a detachment of the rechargeable battery from memory of an electronic control unit the system of injection of fuel erases information on malfunctions. Before a detachment it is recommended to take readings by means of the special diagnostic unit on HUNDRED.

Removal of the engine is carried out in the following order:

– remove a body cowl;

– disconnect wires from negative and positive plugs of the rechargeable battery;

– remove the rechargeable battery from the car;

– merge cooling liquid;

– remove the forward panel of a motor compartment together with headlights;

– remove the case of the air filter;

– disconnect wires from the fan of cooling of the engine and a radiator;

– weaken collars of fastening of the top and lower sleeves of a radiator and remove sleeves;

– remove a radiator together with the fan of cooling of the engine;

– disconnect cooling system hoses from unions on the engine and from a broad tank of the cooling system;

– disconnect wires from the generator;

– disconnect wires from oil pressure sensors;

– disconnect the contact socket from the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid;

– disconnect a high-voltage wire from the central conclusion of a cover of the distributor of ignition;

– disconnect the contact socket from the ignition distributor;

– disconnect contact sockets from the transmission;

– disconnect the contact socket from the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid;

– mark and disconnect all wires between a body and the engine;

– disconnect a wire of connection with "weight" from a cover of a head of the block of cylinders;

– disconnect wires from a starter;

– weaken collars of fastening and remove hoses of supply of cooling liquid to the heat exchanger;

– remove a hose of supply of cooling liquid to a head of the block of cylinders;

– remove the working cylinder of coupling from a case of the transmission and fix it in a motor compartment by a wire, without disconnecting from it a hose;

– disconnect a wire of connection with "weight" from the transmission;

– disconnect a speedometer drive cable from the transmission;

– disconnect elements of system of injection of fuel (the inlet pipeline, an accelerator cable, contact sockets from the case of a butterfly valve, fuel-supply lines, hoses of cooling liquid and vacuum hoses);

– disconnect a hose from the vacuum amplifier of brakes;

– remove the pump of the hydraulic booster of steering, without disconnecting from it hoses, and take him aside (on cars of the corresponding complete set).

For cars with the mechanical transmission:

– disconnect gear shifting cables.

For cars with the automatic transmission:

– install the lever of the selector of the choice of transfers to situation "P";

– disconnect a cable of switching of the lever of gear shifting;

– disconnect a bracket of a clamp and remove a cable;

– press hoses of cooling liquid and disconnect them from the heat exchanger.

For all cars:

– disconnect power shafts from the transmission and a wire tie up them to a body of cars;

– disconnect a reception pipe of the muffler from a final collector;

– raise and will hang out the power unit (the engine, coupling and the transmission assembled) by means of a manual or electric waist (or any other lifting mechanism);

– turn off three bolts of fastening of the right support of the engine;

– turn off a bolt of fastening of a support of the transmission;

– turn off a nut of fastening of a forward support;

– check whether all wires and hoses are disconnected from the engine and the transmission;

– lift the power unit so that it was exempted from support;

– take the power unit from a motor compartment by means of the lifting device up and forward;

– disconnect the transmission from the engine.

The general recommendations about dismantling of the engine are provided in subsection 3.1.15.

Installation of the power unit is carried out in the sequence, the return to removal. Bolts and nuts of fastening of support of the power unit tighten after installation it on all support and rockings for ensuring its correct landing. After installation adjust an accelerator cable.

Recommendations about launch of the engine after capital repairs are provided in subsection 3.1.17.
