On some models the electrowindow regulators which are put in action only at the included ignition can be applied.

Before making the decision on replacement of the electric motor be convinced of serviceability of the mechanism of a window regulator, having lifted and having lowered glass manually.

Check also serviceability of conducting and switches.

If damage is revealed, first of all check serviceability of a thermal safety lock (the relay of the return current).

For access to the window regulator drive electric motor at first remove the window regulator mechanism. The electric motor is removed according to fig. 16.30 and 16.31 .

NOTE Work in the pure place. Hit of dust and dirt in the mechanism of the electric drive is not allowed. Grease the window regulator electric drive mechanism with G 00045002 lubricant or equivalent.
