You carry out removal and installation of the mechanism of control of the transmission (fig. 8.51) in the following order:

disconnect a gear shifting cable from the transmission. Turn off a bolt of fastening of a cable of the choice of transfers from the lever operating horizontal movement of a shaft of the mechanism of the choice of transfers and remove a cable from the lever (fig. 8.52) ;

remove a spring bracket (fig. 8.53) of fastening of a cable of the preliminary choice of transfers to the intermediate lever operating vertical movement of a shaft of the mechanism of the choice of transfers and disconnect a cable from the lever;
remove brackets of fastening of cables of gear shifting to an arm of a suspension bracket of cables on the transmission;
having hung out a forward part of the car, record it on basic racks;
turn off bolts of fastening of a connector of the exhaust system and remove an exhaust pipe;

turn off two bolts of fastening of a back part of the thermofilter 3 (fig. 8.54) , remove a clip in a forward part (or several clips located on each side) and take the thermofilter from under the car;
from below the car turn off two bolts of fastening of a back part of the case of the lever of gear shifting;
in interior of the car, having unscrewed the handle from the gear shifting lever, remove the protection cover of the lever. Turn off two plastic nuts located in the top back part of the case of the lever of gear shifting and lower the lever with cables under the car;
take pins of fastening and uncover the gear shifting lever case;
turn off two nuts of a plate of fastening of covers of cables to the case of gear shifting and remove a plate;
previously having disconnected spring clips, disconnect cables from the gear shifting lever;
if necessary carry out dismantling of the block of the lever of gear shifting, previously having turned off a bolt of fastening of the directing pin and having removed lock rings;

you carry out assembly of the block of the lever of gear shifting to the sequences, the return dismantling. The plug of fastening of finishing (fig. 8.55) arrange at distance of 40 mm from the lever handle. At installation of a new head on the spherical hinge of the case (fig. 8.56) of the mechanism of the choice of transfers, heat a head and from two parties squeeze it then install on the spherical hinge;
