You carry out dismantling of differential in the following order (rice 8.32)
carefully clear and examine differential. With wear or damages replace it. When replacing of the conducted cogwheel of the main transfer replace a secondary shaft as they are coordinated with each other;

for removal of the conducted cogwheel of the main transfer, a drill with a diameter of 12 mm drill rivets of fastening of a cogwheel to a box of differential (fig. 8.33) and remove the conducted cogwheel of the main transfer. Protect differential bearings from metal shavings which are formed when drilling. At installation of the conducted cogwheel of the main transfer use special bolts with nuts;
stripper, press bearings from a differential box. Before removal of bearings previously remove the speedometer drive;
hammer with a drift from soft metal against the stop a spring pin into an axis of satellites and, striking blows to an axis end face, beat out an axis of satellites from a differential box;
take satellites, semi-axial gear wheels and a separator from a differential box;
drift from soft metal beat out a spring pin from an axis of satellites.
You carry out assembly of differential in the following order:
check a condition of details of differential;

oil a separator, establish it in a differential box. Insert satellites and an axis of satellites. Turn an axis of satellites so that openings in a box of differential and an axis of satellites for installation of a spring pin were combined and hammer a spring pin so that it entered almost to the middle of an axis of satellites (fig. 8.34) ;
establish from two parties of a box of differential semi-axial gear wheels so that axes of semi-axial gear wheels coincided with a differential box axis;

insert two special bolts (fig. 8.35) of fastening of the conducted cogwheel of the main transfer from two opposite sides into a differential box. Before installation heat the conducted cogwheel of the main transfer to temperature of 100 °C and establish it on a differential box;

establish new special bolts (fig. 8.36) , nuts and lock washers and tighten nuts the regulated moment;
establish a gear wheel of the drive of a speedometer and new conic bearings;
temporarily (without lock rings) establish drive flanges in differential and check its work.
