You carry out dismantling of a main shaft in the following order:

stripper remove from a main shaft 40 (see fig. 8.15 ) an internal ring of the roller bearing;
remove a stripper from a main shaft a persistent washer, the bearing and a gear wheel of the 4th transfer;
remove a spring lock ring from a flute of a shaft and a gear wheel of the 3rd transfer.
You carry out an inspection as follows:
carefully clear all details of a main shaft and check their state;

check a condition of a ring of the synchronizer of the 5th transfer (fig. 8.14) , having installed it in the sliding coupling and, pressing towards a gear wheel of the 5th transfer. Measure by an edge of the probe a gap between an internal end face of a ring and a gear wheel which has to be no more than 0,5 mm (fig. 8.16) .
You carry out assembly of a main shaft in the following order:
at assembly of a main shaft oil each established detail;

fix a main shaft in a vice with slips from soft material and, using a tubular mandrel, establish a gear wheel of the 3rd transfer on a shaft (the fillet on a gear wheel has to be directed to a gear wheel of the 4th transfer ( fig. 8.17 .);
record a gear wheel of the 3rd transfer by a lock ring;
press a gear wheel of the 4th transfer on a main shaft (the fillet on a gear wheel has to be directed to a gear wheel of the 4th transfer);

using a tubular mandrel, install the conic bearing (fig. 8.18) on a shaft ;
establish a persistent washer on a main shaft;

install the plug on a main shaft and its napressuyta into place by means of a tubular mandrel (fig. 8.19) ;

using a tubular mandrel, a napressuyta the conic bearing on a main shaft from a case of coupling (fig. 8.20) ;
press an external ring of a conic roller bearing in a transmission case without compensation washers;
establish a main shaft in a case;
collect a case of the transmission and tighten bolts the required moment.
