– remove a head of the block of cylinders (see subsection 3.1.6);
– remove an intermediate shaft (see subsection 3.1.9);
– remove a flywheel or a drive plate (see subsection 3.1.8);

Block of cylinders, cranked and intermediate shaft: 1 – bolts of fastening of a cover of the radical bearing of a bent shaft; 2 – cover of the radical bearing of a bent shaft; 3 – insert of the radical bearing of a bent shaft; 4, 6 – persistent half rings; 5 – insert of the central (persistent) radical bearing of a bent shaft; 7 – bent shaft; 8 – bolt of fastening of a cover of an intermediate shaft; 9 – epiploon of an intermediate shaft; 10 – cover of an intermediate shaft; 11 – sealing ring of a cover of an intermediate shaft; 12 – intermediate shaft; 13 – forward epiploon of a bent shaft; 14 – bolts of fastening of a forward cover of a bent shaft; 15 – forward cover of a bent shaft; 16 – laying of a forward cover of a bent shaft; 17 – block of cylinders

– check existence of numbering on covers 2 (see fig. 3.27 ) radical bearings, number a cover center punch if numbering is absent;
– turn off bolts of 1 fastening of covers of radical bearings No. 1, 2, 4, 5 and uncover 2 together with inserts. Do not depersonalize inserts of 3 radical bearings, at assembly they have to be established on the former places;

– check an axial side play of a bent shaft the probe 3 (fig. 3.36) between a persistent half ring and a cheek of a bent shaft. If the axial side play exceeds admissible (see subsection 3.1.1), it is necessary to replace persistent half rings 4 and 6 (see fig. 3.27 ) or a bent shaft;
– turn off bolts of 1 fastening of a cover of the central radical bearing No. 3 and uncover;
– remove a bent shaft 7;
– remove inserts of 3 beds of radical bearings. Do not depersonalize inserts of radical bearings, at assembly they have to be established on the former places.
