Replacement of a forward epiploon of a bent shaft is carried out in the following sequence:
– take off a GRM drive belt (see subsection 3.1.4) and the cogged pulley of a bent shaft;

– turn off bolts 14 (see fig. 3.27 ) fastenings of a forward cover of a bent shaft, bolts of fastening of the oil pallet to a cover, uncover 15 and laying 16;
– take a forward epiploon of the 13th bent shaft from a cover 15;
– clear carefully a surface of an opening of a cover 15 for installation of an epiploon;
– dip a new epiploon 13 in engine oil and insert it into a cover 15 by means of a mandrel. Make sure that the working edge of an epiploon is directed inside;
– install a forward cover 15 with an epiploon on the block of cylinders and tighten bolts 14 serially cross-wise;
– install the cogged pulley of a bent shaft and a belt of the GRM drive.
Replacement of a back epiploon of a bent shaft is carried out in the following sequence:
– remove a flywheel or a drive plate (see subsection 3.1.8);
– turn off bolts of fastening of a back cover of a bent shaft, uncover also laying of a cover;
– take a back epiploon of a bent shaft from a back cover;
– clear carefully a cover opening surface for installation of an epiploon;
– dip a new epiploon in engine oil and insert it into a cover by means of a mandrel. Make sure that the working edge of an epiploon is directed inside;
– install a back cover with an epiploon on the block of cylinders and tighten bolts serially cross-wise;
– establish a flywheel or a drive plate.
