Remove and install the oil pump in the following sequence:

– remove the oil pallet (see subsection 3.1.10);

– disconnect a partition of 11 (fig. 3.28) of the oil pallet from an oil receiver 8;

– turn off bolts of the 9th fastening of an oil receiver and remove an oil receiver 8 from the oil pump;

– otverny bolts of the 7th fastening of the oil pump also remove the oil pump from the block of cylinders;

– turn off bolts of the 6th fastening of a cover of the oil pump and uncover the 5th pump. In it there is a reducing valve;

– wash out pump details in kerosene;

– examine pump details, replace the damaged details;

– check an axial side play of gear wheels of the oil pump and a gap between teeths of gear wheels (fig. 3.29, 3.30) . If they exceed admissible values (see subsection 3.1.1) and in the presence of damages replace the pump assembled;

– ship the pump in fresh engine oil, turning a shaft 3 drives (see fig. 3.28 ), fill the pump;

– clear the interfaced surfaces;

– install the oil pump on the block of cylinders and tighten bolts of the 7th fastening;

– establish a new sealing ring 10 on an oil receiver;

– install an oil receiver on the oil pump and tighten bolts 9;

– install the oil pallet.
