Removal of a flywheel is carried out in the following sequence:
– remove from the car the power unit (the engine, coupling and the transmission assembled);
– disconnect the transmission and coupling from the engine;

– record a flywheel from a provorachivaniye special adaptation (fig. 3.22) ;
– turn off bolts of fastening and remove a flywheel from a shaft of a bent shaft;
– put with a tag marker on a flywheel and a shaft of a bent shaft for the subsequent correct installation of a flywheel.

On models with the automatic transmission (AT) on a shaft of a bent shaft the drive plate to which the hydrotransformer fastens is established. The sequence of removal of a drive plate is similar to the sequence of removal of a flywheel (fig. 3.23, 3.24) .
Troubleshooting of a flywheel includes:
– survey of a gear wreath. In the presence of the broken or strongly worn-out teeths it is necessary to replace a gear wreath or a flywheel;
– survey of a working surface of a flywheel — the surface of contact with the conducted clutch plate. In the presence on it flutes, scratches or strong development grinding of a surface in a specialized workshop with the subsequent balancing of a flywheel or its replacement is necessary.

Installation of a flywheel is carried out in the sequence, the return to removal. On a new flywheel there is only a tag VMT, the tag of the moment of ignition needs to be put (fig. 3.25) . The distance of A is equal to 14,5 mm at coal of an advancing of ignition 6 ° to VMT. Apply the special means interfering their otvorachivaniye on a carving of new bolts.

When replacing a drive plate (on cars with AKP) it is necessary to adjust distance of A (fig. 3.26) from the back plane of the block of cylinders to the adjusting surface of the hydrotransformer which has to be 19,5–21,1 mm. It changes an adjusting washer 4 (see fig. 3.24 ).
At installation it is recommended to establish new bolts of fastening of a flywheel or a drive plate. Before installation apply special glue for fixation of bolts from an otvorachivaniye. Before an inhaling of bolts of fastening of a flywheel record a flywheel from a provorachivaniye (see fig. 3.22, 3.23 ).
