You make removal of the lock of a trunk lid in the following order:
– remove internal finishing of a trunk lid. The cylinder of the drive of the lock is pressed into the case and is kept by lugs.

– disconnect from the lock 3 ( fig. 16.16 ) or 1 ( fig. 16.17 ) draft 4 ( fig. 16.16 ) or 8 ( fig. 16.17 ).
– note position of the lock a pencil or a felt-tip pen then turn off a bolt of fastening and remove the lock from a trunk lid.
– disconnect the electric socket 1 ( fig. 16.16 ) or 7 ( fig. 16.17 ) luggage carrier illumination lamps from the lock.
You carry out installation to the sequences of the return to removal.

You make removal of the cylinder of the lock in the following order:

       NOTE
The cylinder of the lock should be removed and installed together with the inserted key. On the cars equipped with the central lock are provided in this mechanism a ball 4 ( fig. 16.18 ) and a spring 5: try not to lose these details when dismantling.

– on models with the central lock disconnect drafts 8,11 from the lock, pressing the screw-driver in a groove on plasticity;
– remove a rod of the drive of the central lock for what wring out the screw-driver a plastic cracker (it is shown on an insert). At assembly insert a rod before gearing with the ram;
– wring out plastic ledges of a clamp and take the cylinder 2 of the case 1.
For dismantling of the cylinder take a lock ring from a cylinder flute then remove other details.
On the central blocking cylinder of a detail are fixed by a stopper 6. Take a stopper from the clown 7 and the cylinder, then insert a key into the lock and take lock cylinder details.
You carry out assembly to the sequences to the return dismantling, depending on lock cylinder type.
Gather and squeeze cylinder details so that the ring of fastening or a stopper of a spring could be established without problems.
At connection of draft on models with the central lock insert a core before contact with a latch.
