Before replacement of the pump check giving of tension given to the pump and pressure in system of the amplifier of steering.

The knot of the pump is not maintainable and in case of failure is subject to replacement.

You make removal in the following order:

– merge liquid from system;

– disconnect a pressure head hose 9 ( fig. 11.24 ) from the pump 8;

– weaken bolts of fastening of the pump and turn the pump so that the driving belt 12 could be taken off from a pulley 11;

– finally turn off bolts of fastening and remove the pump;

– for removal of a tank with liquid turn off a fixing clip in the top part of a tank and, having pulled up, remove a tank.
