The mechanism of the regulator of provision of a steering column (
fig. 11.10
) can be removed from a column, having turned off and having lowered a steering column.
At installation of the regulator of provision of a steering column it is necessary to consider the next moments:
– it is necessary to apply lubricant on the surfaces of sliding of the regulator of provision of a steering column;
– at installation of a bolt of a control lever, tighten a bolt the required moment;
– establish a safety plate after tightening of a bolt;
– be convinced that returnable springs are reliably connected to an arm.
