The engine when checking pressure has to be heated-up up to the working temperature.

Check the pump, having measured its pressure head pressure.

Using adapters, connect pressure measuring instrument directly to the pressure head highway of the pump with the open valve ( fig. 11.22 , 11.23 ).

Launch the engine in the idling mode.

For check of the pump close the valve on the measuring instrument, quickly remove value of pressure and reopen the valve. If pressure does not correspond standard (less than 7,5-8,2 MPas), replace the pump.

PREVENTION Close the valve no more, than on 5 with, otherwise it is possible to damage the pump.
