You make removal in the following order:

– disconnect a "minus" wire from the plug of the rechargeable battery;

– remove a steering wheel;

– you stvernit screws and remove the top and lower casings of a steering column;

PREVENTION For fastening bolts with the cut-off head which need to be drilled are used.

– having unscrewed three screws, remove switches from a steering column and disconnect electric sockets;

– turn off and remove the lower finishing of the dashboard and the shelf of the panel from the driver;

– remove a pocket from the driver;

– disconnect the electric contact socket from the ignition lock.

– turn off bolts of fastening of a steering column;

– turn off a bolt of fastening top and lower universal hinges 11 (fig. 11.4) and take a steering column from the car;

– having unscrewed three screws of fastening (fig. 11.5) , remove the switch of turns and disconnect from it the electric socket;

– take from a steering column a coupling ring, a spring of 8 (fig. 11.6) and a contact ring 6;

– unscrew the screw of fastening of the case of the lock of ignition and remove the ignition lock, having shifted it up steering to a column;

– for replacement of the cylinder 7 of the lock of ignition drill an opening with a diameter of 3 mm in the point specified fig. 11.7 ;

– through an opening press a spring of the cylinder of the lock of ignition and take the lock cylinder;

– insert the new cylinder of the lock into the case and, having turned a key in the ignition lock cylinder, hook on the cylinder with the limiter;

– take flat-nose pliers laying and take a spring and a contact ring;

– take the supported ring;

– turn off tightening a bolt, the fixing intermediate shaft by the lower end of a steering shaft;

– take a steering shaft and remove a spring.

– for replacement of the lower bearing of a steering column take it from the case of a steering column down.

– install the new bearing, entering it into place in the column basis, using the corresponding tubular mandrel.

– check a condition of details and, if necessary, replace worn-out.
