PREVENTION The fuel level sensor needs to be removed in well aired room.

Carry out removal and installation of the fuel level sensor in the following order:

– disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the rechargeable battery;

– remove a floor covering in a luggage carrier;

– disconnect the electric plug from a cover 9 (see fig. 5.12 ) the fuel tank;

– note an arrangement of fuel hoses on unions of a cover and remove them from unions;

– turn off a big flange nut 1 (see fig. 5.16 );

– take the sensor from a tank, at the same time do not bend the lever of a float 8;

– if in a tank the fuel pump is installed, the sensor is taken together with the giving fuel pump.
