The fuel accumulator 3 (see fig. 5.13 ) is installed on cars with DOHC engines. It is located about the fuel filter, in the back lower part of the car.

Carry out removal and installation of the fuel accumulator in the following order:

– disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the rechargeable battery;

– lift a back part of the car and fix it on supports or use a viewing ditch, enclose rags under a fuel pressure head hose in a motor compartment;

– slowly weaken connection and take off pressure in fuel system;

– after removal of pressure repeatedly delay connection;

– slowly weaken connecting couplings 2;

– disconnect feeding and the bringing pipelines from the fuel accumulator;

– weaken fastening and take the fuel accumulator.

You carry out installation to the sequences, the return to removal.
