In process of cooling of air from salon in the evaporator water collects. Moisture from air is condensed on cold walls of the evaporator in the form of water drops. Water flows down from the evaporator via the drainage valve which passes through a partition of a motor compartment.

For removal of the valve raise a uvula 4 ( fig. 14.21 ), insert a hexagon of necessary dimension, turn the valve on 1/8 turn (or on 45 °) and extend the valve from a casing. Clear the valve case of dirt. Make sure that the valve is not hammered with dirt, wax or material of a lining.
