Repair Volkswagen Passat B3-B4/Passat B3-B4>> Systems of heating, ventilation and conditioning>> Cover of airinflow and vacuum system
The cover of airinflow of 1
(fig. 14.9)
sets amount of the air brought to system of ventilation. The drive of a cover provides its closing when switching the switch of the fan in situation "0" or "Off". During the operation of the fan the cover of airinflow opens, providing access atmospheric air to an airdistributing box. At turning on of the conditioner in the mode of the maximum cooling, the servo-driver 2 works and closes a cover, blocking air access then recirculation of the air which is selected from salon begins.
The vacuum system (
fig. 14.10
) provides closing or opening of a cover of airinflow. The arrow about the control valve 4 specified the direction of a stream. The stream has to be directed towards a vacuum source — to the highway of pumping of the vacuum amplifier of brakes. The double-thread gate with the electric drive connects the vacuum highway to the airinflow cover servo-driver 6 at switching off of the fan or at position of the switch of the Move A/S conditioner.
