You make adjustment in the following order:

– establish wheels in situation "movement directly forward" and screw up самоконтрящийся the adjustment screw approximately on 20 ° ( fig. 11.20 );

– check the car in the movement;

– if steering a heavy and steering wheel does not come back to average situation after turn passing, weaken the adjusting screw a little;

– if after adjustment the steering wheel comes back to average situation, but still there is a side play in steering, wrap the adjusting screw a little;

– if all operations do not provide satisfactory adjustment of steering - it is a sign of wear of steering transfer, and it is subject to replacement.
