You make removal of a pin in the following order:
– record forward wheels;
– you will hang out and record a back part of the car on basic racks;
– remove a brake drum / nave or a disk/nave;
– on cars with brakes of drum type remove the brake mechanism of a back wheel;
– disconnect a brake tube from the working brake cylinder;
– disconnect a cable of the emergency brake;
– unscrew bolts of fastening and remove a brake board and a pin.
Installation is carried out to the sequences of the return to removal.
On cars with disk back brakes check and if necessary fix a cover ring by special VW-519 adaptation or a tubular mandrel of the corresponding diameter (
fig. 10.22
).
Remove air from the brake system and adjust the emergency brake.
