Ignition coil

Carry out check of the coil of ignition in the following order:

– disconnect electric wires and uncover the coil of ignition 1 (see fig. 6.17 );

– connect a tester between plugs 1 (–) and 15 (+) and check resistance of primary winding of the coil of ignition;

connect a tester between plugs 4 (HT) and 15 (+) and check resistance of a secondary winding of the coil of ignition.

Control unit

Carry out check of the control unit in the following order:

– disconnect the electric socket from the control unit (fig. 6.18) ;

– connect a tester to contacts 2 and 4 on the socket of the control unit and include ignition, at the same time the tester has to show accumulator tension;

– switch off ignition and connect the electric socket to the control unit;

– squeeze the fixing uvulas and remove the electric socket from the distributor;

– connect a tester to contacts 1 (–) and 15 (+) on the ignition coil (see fig. 6.17 .);

– include ignition, at the same time at the first moment tension will make 2 V, and through 1–2 with will decrease to zero. Otherwise replace the control unit;

– disconnect the multioutput electric socket from the Digifant control unit and connect contact 25 to "weight", at the same time tension about 2 V have to increase quickly;

– switch off ignition, connect the multioutput electric socket to the Digifant control unit.

Hall's sensor

 

PREVENTION Check is necessary only in the absence of sparking.

Carry out check of the sensor of Hall in the following order:

– squeeze the fixing uvulas and remove the electric socket 8 (see fig. 6.13 ) from the distributor;

– connect a tester to side contacts of the electric socket and include ignition, at the same time the tester has to show tension 10 in ( fig. 6.19 .);

– switch off ignition, connect the electric socket to the distributor;

– disconnect the electric socket from the control unit of system of injection of fuel;

– shift a rubber cover from the electric socket to the distributor, then attach a LED sampler (fig. 6.20) to the socket of the sensor ;

– include a starter and check that the LED sampler blinks. Otherwise, replace the distributor.

Digifant control unit

Carry out check of the Digifant control unit in the following order:

– full check of the block requires the specialized equipment;

– disconnect the electric socket from the control unit of system of injection of fuel;

– connect a LED sampler to plugs 1 (–) and 15 (+) coils of ignition (fig. 6.21) . Connect double contact of the coil of ignition so that only wires were attached to the shielding braid;

– include a starter and check that the LED sampler blinks. Otherwise, replace the control unit.
