Carry out check and adjustment of a corner of an advancing of ignition in the following order:

– before check or adjustment of a corner of an advancing of ignition, check serviceability of system of ignition;

– check correctness of adjustment of fuel system (turns of idling and quality of mix);

– switch-off the conditioner;

– remove a stopper from a viewing opening of a case of coupling;

– turn a bent shaft of the engine one of the next ways:

– manually, turn a bent shaft of the engine clockwise for a belt pulley;

– include the 4th or 5th transfer and move the car;

– raise a forward part of the car and by the included transfer turn a forward wheel;

– so far adjusting tags on a flywheel will not be visible through a viewing opening (see fig. 6.11 ). Béla, quickly drying paint, note an ignition advancing corner tag on a flywheel and a V-shaped cut in the lower part of a viewing opening;

– start the engine and warm up it up to the normal working temperature;

– switch off the engine and connect a stroboscope according to the instruction of the manufacturer.

PB, PF engines and 2E:

– disconnect the blue socket from the sensor of temperature (fig. 6.29 and 6.30) ;

– increase engine turns up to 2000 - 2500 min.-1.

RP engine:

– disconnect and close a stopper a vacuum hose of the vacuum regulator of a corner of an advancing of ignition;

– start the engine in the idling mode.

KR engine:

– start the engine in the idling mode.

Engine 9A:

– check existence of codes of malfunction and eliminate malfunctions;

– start the engine in the idling mode.

All engines:

direct stroboscope light to a viewing opening. If the corner of an advancing of ignition is filled correctly, previously noted adjusting tag on a flywheel will be combined with a tag in on the lower part of a viewing opening;

for adjustment, weaken a bolt of fastening of the holder of the distributor and turn the distributor so that adjusting tags were combined then fix the distributor by a bolt;

after carrying out adjustment switch off the engine and establish the stopper closing a viewing opening. Disconnect a stroboscope and connect the socket of the sensor of temperature and a vacuum hose of the vacuum regulator of a corner of an advancing of ignition.
