Ignition tension, in electronic systems of ignition, reaches 30 000 Century. To avoid injuries from defeat by current and to prevent breakages of ignition, the main precautionary measures have to be observed:
– do not touch a high-voltage wire of ignition by a hand and do not disconnect it at the working engine or at rotation of the engine a starter;

– at rotation of the engine a starter to prevent start of the engine, the high-voltage wire has to be disconnected from the central contact of a cover of the distributor and is connected to "weight". In the KE-Motronic system disunite the socket 11 (see fig. 6.8 .) the power block near the ignition coil. If the system of ignition is damaged and towage of the car with the included ignition is required, it is necessary to disunite the electric socket 1 (see fig. 6.3 ) from the TCI — H block;
– disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the rechargeable battery before carrying out electrowelding works on the car;
disconnect wires of system of ignition and a wire of measuring devices only at the switched-off ignition;
start by means of the puskozaryadny device is admissible only no more than 1 min. at a voltage no more than 16,5 V. Rotor of the ignition distributor with a resistance of 1 kOhm (alphabetic reference of R1), is not subject to replacement by another, even for suppression of a radio noise;
in wires of high voltage use to noise elimination only resistors of 1 kOhm and tips of spark plugs with a resistance of 5 kOhm. When heating more than +80 °C, start the engine only after cooling;
you make a wash of the engine only at the switched-off ignition. The engine can work only when the control unit of ignition is strongly fixed.
