(AAZ engine) carry out check and adjustment of the maximum turns of the engine in the following order:
start the engine, tighten the emergency brake and install the gear shifting lever in neutral situation;
for several seconds press an accelerator pedal against the stop;
using a tachometer for diesel engines, check the maximum turns of the engine which have to make 5200 min.-1;

       PREVENTION
The engine has to work at the maximum turns no more than 2–3 pages.

for adjustment of the maximum turns of the engine weaken a lock-nut and rotate the adjusting screw 1 (fig. 5.82) ;
after adjustment of the maximum turns of the engine tighten a lock-nut.
