Carry out removal and installation of a radiator in the following order:

– disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the rechargeable battery;

– merge cooling liquid from the cooling system;

– remove from the car the forward cross panel with headlights;

– weaken collars and remove top 19 and lower the 17th radiator hoses (see fig. 4.4 );

– disconnect the plug from the radiator fan thermal sensor 8;

– weaken fixing brackets 4;

– being careful, remove, lifting up, a radiator 5 from the car;

– turn off an arm of fans 13 and an air inlet 3 from a radiator, then turn off nuts and disconnect fans 15 and 16 from an air inlet;

– unscrew the thermal sensor 8 and remove laying 7;

PREVENTION It is the best of all to entrust repair of the damaged radiator to a specialized workshop. Small leakages can be liquidated independently, using the technology and medicines described in automobile literature.

– check a condition of a radiator and if necessary wash out it clear water;

– wash out a radiator outside a pure stream and a soft brush, accurately cleaning the leaves and the remains of insects which got stuck between radiator elements.

You carry out installation to the sequences, the return to removal, taking into account the next moments:

– replace rubber rings 6 on guides in the radiator basis;

– at installation of the top panel, combine openings under two bolts with openings in a radiator;

– fill in cooling liquid in the cooling system;

– check adjustment of light of headlights.
