The fuel filter is installed in a motor compartment behind the air filter. For discharge of water execute the following operations from the filter:
– take out a bracket of fastening of the distributive valve in the top part of the filter;
– take out the distributive valve with the fuel hoses attached to it;

– weaken the coupling screw of an arm of 1 (fig. 2.3) and slightly raise the filter 3;
– install under the filter a container for water;
– unscrew the drain gate 2;
– merge liquid from the filter and hold the gate 2 opened still some time, about 100 cm3 of fuel will not merge yet;
– wrap the gate 2;
– wipe all splashes or the remains of fuel;
– install the distributive valve, fix it a bracket 1;
– install the filter in a starting position;
– wrap the coupling screw;
– launch the engine, in the mode of idling check the filter and connections of hoses for lack of leaks;
– finish the frequency of rotation of a bent shaft up to 2000 min.-1, then let's the engine return to the idling mode, repeat it several times and look at a fuel stream in a transparent hose, going to the fuel pump of high pressure (FPHP), – in it there should not be vials of air.
