Further the order of removal of transmission without dismantle of the power unit is given.
Removal of transmission requires a floor jack with an adapter under a case and basic racks.
You carry out removal of transmission in the following order:
disconnect a wire from the negative rechargeable battery;
you will hang out a forward part of the car and fix on basic racks to provide space, sufficient for access to transmission;

       ATTENTION
Make sure that the car is reliably fixed on basic racks. Use only those racks which are specially intended for car repairs. Installation of the car only on one jack is dangerous and can lead to a serious trauma.

disconnect the corresponding wire of "weight" from transmission;
disconnect a speedometer drive cable, or open the socket of the remote sensor which is in the top back part of a case of transmission. Open other sockets of conducting of transmission;
transfer the selector lever to situation Park and disconnect a cable of the selector of transfers from the lever on a transmission case;
remove the soaking-up air duct located between the air filter of the engine, the measuring instrument of speed of a stream and a butterfly valve;

prepare the elevator or a jack capable to sustain engine weight. It is recommended to use special adaptation (fig. 8.77) ;
remove the idling stabilizer valve together with an arm;
remove a starter;
turn off the top bolts of fastening of transmission to the engine;
remove the left support of transmission;

       NOTE
On cars with use of anti-blocking system removal of a drain tank of cooling liquid can be necessary for access to the left support of transmission.

remove a protective plate of transmission, uncover the hydrotransformer;
remove the thermal guard mounted near the right internal CV JOINT, remove the balance weight from a stretcher;
disconnect the right power shaft from a half shaft flange and fix it by a rigid wire. Remove the left power shaft;
turn off bolts of fastening of the hydrotransformer to a disk;
substitute under a transmission case a rack for keeping of a case or a jack with the corresponding adapter. Turn off the lower bolts of fastening of transmission to the engine;
carefully disconnect transmission from the engine and, having displaced on the directing plugs, also carefully lower the unit;

       PREVENTION
In order to avoid falling of its hydrotransformer it is necessary to fix previously.

Carry out installation of transmission in the sequence, the return to removal.
Before installation be convinced available on places of the directing plugs and that the hydrotransformer is reliably fixed. If necessary check and adjust a selector cable. If it is necessary, fill up the level of transmission liquid and oil in the transmission.
